Leaf on the Wind

Wearing this preserved fallen leaf, flecked with gold is sure to make you feel like an elven queen.

Finished with durable 316L stainless steel

I was visiting my sister near Denver this past weekend, and I spotted this leaf. It wasn't alone, and nothing about it should have been special, yet I had to stop and pick it up.

Upon closer inspection I found the movement of it's edges combined with the holes in it completely mesmerizing. It's not often that I can see the final image of a piece in the first moment of inspiration, but that's exactly what happened.

I managed to keep it intact on my voyage back to Seattle, and a couple days later the image in my head was brought to life.
